Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani act as the eponymous protagonists in Satyaprem Ki Katha (lit. Tale of True Love), an Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film about a tumultuous marriage. The film is jointly produced by Entertainment and Namah Pictures and directed by Sameer Vidwans.
The movie's announcement came in June 2021. Beginning in September 2022, principal photography was completed in April 2023. On June 29, 2023, the movie was released in theatres.

Satyaprem, aka Sattu," is a Gujarati good-for-nothing, silly kid who is anxious to wed Katha, the daughter of renowned businessman Harikishen. Katha is Gujarati. When Katha's parents unexpectedly show up at Sattu's residence and request Sattu's hand in marriage, Sattu's fantasies unexpectedly come true. In his attempts to win Katha over and maintain his marriage, Sattu ultimately proves himself to be a respectable husband.

Kinjal's spouse, Awlad Hossen, Katha's sister, Palash Tiwari, as Dheeraj, and Maira Doshi as Kinjal Eshan perform as Eshan Nirmite Saawaant as Christmas Masi in a production.
On June 23, 2021, Sajid Nadiadwala officially announced the movie, which will be helmed by Sameer Vidwans and star Kartik Aaryan. Initially, Satyanarayan Ki Katha was intended to be the name of the film. Due to criticism, it was later titled Satyaprem Ki Katha.
Kartik Aaryan was cast as the lead in this, Sajid Nadiadwala and Kartik Aaryan's first film together. Later, it was revealed that Ananya Panday and Sharvari Wagh were both approached but turned the other person down. After Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (2022), Kiara Advani is paired with Aaryan in their second movie. Her appearance in the movie was  confirmed in july 2022

The first schedule for the movie finished on October 6th, 2022, while production began on September 3rd in Mumbai. The production was relocated to Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in November 2022. The last schedule started on January 31.

Satyaprem Ki Katha costs Rs 25 crore, according to Kartik Aaryan. How much money did Kiara Advani bring in? Gajraj Rao, who is renowned for his comedic timing, has collected Rs 1 crore for the movie. Suriya Patak reportedly received Rs. 75 lakh, according to ANI.
